James did a fabulous job entertaining my 3rd-5th grade students during Red Ribbon Week. His message was very age appropriate and his delivery was spot on. Not only did he put on a very entertaining show that had everyone engaged for the full 45 minutes, he also uses educational prompts to get students back on track, he has total and full command of the students. I highly recommend James Wand if you are looking to book a funny and entertaining show!

James was so funny and had the kids (and teachers!) cracking up the whole time. If I could give more than 5 stars for audience control, I would. He had 500+ students leaving our gym in SILENCE because they were "secret agents." Amazing! This was the second time he has performed at Olson and will definitely not be the last. We've enjoyed both the anti-bullying and reading shows.

Ok, I really tried to give James Wand less than 5 stars, but I couldn't do it. He had the kids laughing, shouting, and reading words in such a boisterous manner I thought I might have to step in to calm them down a bit. But, he masterfully guided them all calmly back in to the point of the show. The usefulness of Reading and going to the library was presented in a manner that was highly relevant to the children's interests. When the kids go back to school and the teachers ask them what they did this summer, the James Wand Show will be remembered. Shocking, I know. Well done, James Wand!!!
