Nancy Burks Worcester is a storyteller and ventriloquist with more than 20 years of experience in making children laugh, think, and learn. She has appeared at storytelling festivals across Texas and has a story published in "Best Stories Told at the Texas Storytelling Festival."
An award-wining ventriloquist, Nancy and her puppet friends have a new show each year with a catchy theme (for 2012 it was "Get a Clue" to coincide with the library theme). Her show is frequently hailed as "the best show we've ever had".

We had Nancy as our last performer of the summer and she was worth the wait. She is so amazing with her friends and how funny and energetic she was. The children stayed fulling engrossed in what she was doing. Her set up was amazing and I can't say enough in how fun her charaters were and the new spin she put on some old favorites.
We have invited her back for 2020 and I can't wait to see what she does for this theme.

We have had Nancy come to our libraries a couple of times now! Kids (and grown ups too) LOVE her!! She performs the most interactive puppet shows! The kids relate to her characters and they are captivated by her performance! We love Nancy's Hands and will always have a place for her at the Hutchinson County Library!
