The Yuck Game Show!
The Yuck Game Show is an energetic science assembly program available to schools and libraries across Texas.
The audience is divided into two teams to compete in curriculum-based science games and big, highly visual science demonstrations, with the winning team’s captain getting the ultimate prize . . . SLIME! In this active experience, an average of 45 students per show come up on stage for engaging activities ranging from blowing smoke rings across the room to making beach balls levitate in the air, to using scientific equipment to determine the winner of silly relay games, all leading up to the grand finale of the show, when the “winner” is covered in slime! I heard so many reports from our teachers in the hall about how much their students loved the show, and more than one teacher said how much they enjoyed it, too. Everyone was talking about it all throughout the day. It is easily the best show we’ve had at our campus.

Yuck was exceptionally engaging. Our students and teachers all loved the show. So many students were involved on stage, and our assistant principal commented that he had never seen our students so attentive during a program. The demonstrations and activities were well-suited for the age groups, and the pace of the show was fast and exciting. Brian was very funny and so personable. We very much enjoyed his visit to our school. Our show was a few weeks ago, and parents are still telling me how much their kids enjoyed it.
